Guided Imagery and Hypnotic Trance
Access non-ordinary states to process trauma gently, reclaim lost parts, and install inner safety.

Guided imagery and hypnotic trance invite you into a soft, altered state where the conscious mind relaxes and the deeper layers of your psyche become accessible. These states are not about losing control. They are about entering a place of heightened awareness, imagination, and inner truth where healing becomes easier and safer.

In this module, you learn how to work with your subconscious through imagery, storytelling, visualization, symbolic landscapes, and rhythmic cues. These practices help you access parts of yourself that are hard to reach through talking alone.

This is a gentle path into your inner world, where lost parts return, protective parts soften, and inner safety becomes possible.

Guided Imagery and Hypnotic Trance FAQ

1. What is hypnotic trance?
A relaxed, focused state where the subconscious becomes more accessible.
You remain fully aware, safe, and in control.

2. Will I “go under” or lose control?
No. Therapeutic trance is gentle. You hear everything. You participate. You stay conscious.

3. How does guided imagery help trauma?
Trauma is often stored symbolically and somatically. Imagery helps you process from a safe distance without reliving the story.

4. Do I need to be visual to do this?
No. Imagery can be felt, sensed, heard, or imagined through emotion. All inner senses are valid.

5. Is this like past life regression?
It can be similar in depth, but this module focuses on present-life healing, inner parts, and nervous system safety.
6. Can this open portals or overwhelm me spiritually?
No. Sessions are anchored, grounded, and structured with clear intention. You are guided with safety and consent.
7. Can I do this if I struggle with dissociation?
Yes, as long as we pace slowly. Trance is titrated, anchored, and regulated to prevent floating away.
8. Is this therapy or coaching outside Illinois?
Hypnotic imagery can be used as therapy for clients in Illinois.
It is available as guided imagery and trance-based coaching for clients everywhere.
