The Wild Woman Series: 3rd Chapter — Bluebeard In our third gathering, we sit with Bluebeard — a tale about a forbidden door, a key that stains with blood no matter how hard it's scrubbed, and a woman who chooses to know the truth even though obeying would have been easier. This session is about reclaiming your instinct. Drawing from Clarissa Pinkola Estés' Women Who Run With the Wolves, we explore the predator as a psychic force — sometimes an outside threat, often an inner critic — whose job is to talk us out of trusting what we already sense. We'll ask together: What stands behind? What is not as it appears? What do I know deep in myself that I wish I did not know? What in me has been killed, or lies dying? And we'll close in ritual, each woman naming aloud one instinct she's recommitting to trust. This is the work of learning to stand in the presence of what you already know, even when it's uncomfortable. No spiritual background required. Just a willingness to show up honestly, and begin trusting yourself again.
